So here I am, reviewing a game that isn’t over a year old. Wonders never cease. In honor of reviewing a slightly relevant game I may try and be slightly professional in my review. It will most likely however still contain expletives such as fuck and vagina.

5. Red Dead Redemption – PS3, 360

The basic jist (gist?) is that we at GamesBurp are very moist for this game, probably even damp. I can’t think of an actual good western game and this looks like it will just be the absolute definition of the genre. Not bad for a first try (Rockstar didn’t make Revolver, they only published Capcom’s game), but then being awesome is just how Rockstar do.
I have a source buried deep inside Rockstar who says this Game is “Tits”. That means good to those of you who don’t know what tits are. Also, where the hell have you been that you don’t know what they are?
Everyone likes tits is my point. Gay men, straight men, women. Especially women, they are fucking consumed with tit envy. But even more especially; straight men, we just don’t pretend we don’t love them.
So we’re agreed then. Tits are the answer to world peace therefore, Red Dead Redemption will be awesome.
Metro 2033 is released this Friday – 19th May and I am goddamn raw that it’s only for PC and 360 because I have a PS3 and my laptop is balls.
It’s set in post apocalyptic Moscow, guess what year, and human have been driven into subways and underground shelters by the intense surface radiation. A new species has adapted and it looks like they want to be the new dominant species, so your job is to strap on a pair, tool up and have at it. Only you can only spent limited periods above ground, below are ROUSs and your ammo is also your currency.
Metro 2033 looks tense and stark and bleak and is right up my tree. Boo Hoo.

On wednesday Sony named their motion control device as the PlayStation Move. Because I’m such an ace reporter and am totally at GDC I would’ve been right there asking the tough questions but…..
What hotel am I staying at? Weeeeellll, you wouldn’t know it, it’s kinda out of the way. Whichever hotel you don’t know in San Francisco, that’s the one I’m at.
Anyway I didn’t cover it because I was too busy partying and generally being a stand up guy.
So the first Map pack has been announced for Modern Warfare 2. The pack which is likely to consist of 3 or 4 new maps will be released on the 20th of March…..But because Microsoft have no real business strategy or any real idea of how you actually make money have thrown a shit ton of cash at Activision so the 20th of March date is for Xbox 360 users only. PC and PS3 gamers will get the pack a few weeks later.
I’m not sure how MS intend to make any money from the 360 at this rate. Everyone knows you generally lose money on every console sold, yet they keep paying through the nose for time exclusive content. Now this can only result in 3 things in my eyes, Xbox owners having to pay more for peripherals, Compared to the PS3 the Xbox is pretty bare bones as it is, they’ll have to start charging more for this DLC or Microsoft will have to get out of the console market.
I don’t see that happening though, MS have so much money I don’t think they care if they lose some money, the more likely is they’ll start charging more for things. Xbox owners already get screwed plenty by MS in regards to what they have to buy and what they have to pay so we’ll see what happens.
In any event MS continue there game of one upmanship even though no one is really too bothered. I don’t see people switching systems for any reason. People are very stuck in their ways.
Incidentally I’ve owned both machines and can say in my view the PS3 is better in every way and no amount of exclusive content, timed or not would make me switch.
